The cell shows #NAME?
The add-on isn't active in this spreadsheet. Open the Extensions menu, check that Hebrew Dates is listed, and reload the sheet.
It asks for Adar I or Adar II
A leap year has two months of Adar, so "Adar" alone is ambiguous. Write, for example, 14 Adar II 5784.
A date written with slashes doesn't work
12/09/2026 means different days in different countries. Use a date cell, or write 2026-09-12.
Israel or abroad?
HEB_EVENTS uses the Israel calendar. For abroad, add FALSE as the third value: =HEB_EVENTS(A2, "en", FALSE).
What about a time after sunset?
The Hebrew day begins in the evening. For a time after sunset, add TRUE: =HEBREW_DATE(A2, TRUE).
