Privacy policy

Last updated: October 11, 2026

In short: every calculation happens inside your spreadsheet. We do not collect, store or share any spreadsheet data or personal information.

This policy covers the Tachles Tools add-ons for Google Workspace, currently Hebrew Dates for Google Sheets, and the website tachlestools.com.

What the add-on accesses

• The values you give its formulas, such as a date in a cell, to calculate the result.
• The time zone setting of the current spreadsheet, so a date is read exactly as your sheet shows it.

The add-on asks Google for two permissions only: spreadsheets.currentonly, access to the spreadsheet where it runs and no other, and script.container.ui, to show its help window.

What we do with it

• All calculations run on Google's servers, as part of your spreadsheet.
• We do not collect, store, transmit or share spreadsheet data or any personal information.
• The add-on does not connect to our servers or to any outside service.
• We do not use data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Google API Services

Tachles Tools' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

This website

The website has no accounts, no advertising and no tracking. Fonts load from Google Fonts, and the hosting provider may keep standard technical logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security and reliability.

Paid features

If paid features are added, buying them will require an email address to confirm the purchase. This policy will be updated before then, stating exactly what is collected and why.
